Subject: RE : First install

I found my problem....silly problem...
I didn't have enough space, I allocated 1MB instead of 1GB
So now, i installed owl properly, I took the bzImage from the cd-rom for
the first reboot, and now, I am compiling my kernel.

I setup too my network card and did some stuff with. Sometimes, I get
"neighbour overflow", I dunno what it is...
My neighbour are in holidays and I am alone on the stair...

Anyway, I am happy with this new system... which is very clean.
I will now try to compile apache as you wrote in the TODO file.
You are requiring apache 1.3.x so now 1.3.27 but why not 2.0 ?
2.0 is more secure and really more powerfull than 1.3.x.
I will try to compile both.

No. There's no such requirement.

Could be, although not necessarily (it could be an error in burning
the CD).

How much disk space did you allocate to your Owl partitions?

Were there any "Failed" lines during the "make installworld"? If so,
their causes should have been on the screen, -- the first one is most
important, others could be a consequence.

You could want to double check that the CD was burned correctly.
There're mtree specs in its root directory which you can use, see "man
mtree" while booted off the CD.
