Subject: JtR v1.9.0 Jumbo 1 bleeding, fatal error with /dev/shm in Windows CMD
 and powershell

John Users,

Hi everyone.   I recently built the latest version of JtR jumbo 1
bleeding in Cygwin for windows.

I intended to upload it to the custom-builds.

During my testing I ran into the /dev/shm issue that I saw years ago.
Anyone have a solution?   Is a code change needed?

John.exe runs fine within Cygwin, however when running it from a Windows
command prompt or/and powershell I see the following fatal error.

.\john

Create the directory '/dev/shm' and set the permissions to 01777.
For instance on the command line: mkdir -m 01777 /dev/shm
