You can build rpm from src.rpm in the usuall manner,
owl!root:~# rpm -i package.src.rpm
owl!root:~# rpm -bb /usr/src/RPM/SPEC/package.spec
(Note that most src.rpm define insecure temporary directories for
compilation, so it's best to run it on a dedicated box).
 
However, binary RPMs from RedHat 6.2 should be compatible with Owl, so
you may try to use them first.
Of course, Owl will gradually incorporate more packages, as soon as they
are revised. For now, you may use third party software, if you trust them
enough :)
