Subject: musl status & upcoming release - sept 3
hi everyone,
i've just recently filled in some missing functionality and fixed some
bugs in the dynamic linker, and added the open_memstream and
open_wmemstream interfaces (from GNU and POSIX 2008). short of any
major new bugs or compatibility issues, i plan to make the 0.8.0
release in the next few days. please report any issues you'd like
addressed before release.
with the 0.8 series, the major remaining tasks towards 1.0 will be:
- integrating C99 math support
- unicode character class & case mappings
- some level of C++ support
- POSIX async io
- zoneinfo (timezone) support
- locales for collation, monetary, date/time
