Subject: c standard document

the c standard is in a hard to handle pdf document
(or even worse, in a printed format)

i tried to made it a bit more useful and converted
n1256.pdf (c99+tc*) and n1548.pdf (a recent c1x draft)
into plain text and then added a few links

http://port70.net/~nsz/c/c99/n1256.html
http://port70.net/~nsz/c/c1x/n1548.html

it's hopeless to get any reasonable structural
information out of the published pdf documents
so it's not as nice as it could be

features:
 internal links
one page, easy to grep ascii only text

unfortunately some information is lost/garbled
(most notably mathematical notations around
floating point specs, and diff marks wrt previous
standards)

i was meaning to do this for a long time
as i often check the standard
others might find it useful around here as well
