All the dead machines had the same motherboard model. I have not managed to reproduce the issue again on the machine I restored via the IPMI interface, I suspect that it may be a bug in the BIOS that was fixed in a more recent version. > > I'm still trying to wrap my head around how the BIOS could be blowing > up.
