Subject: CMIYC and PasswordVillage at DEF CON 2021: Aug. ~5-8

It is that time of year: DEFCON approaches rapidly! And it means that
soon there will be Crack Me If You Can hash cracking competition by
KoreLogic. They call it "the premiere password cracking contest", and I
confirm: it is awesome!

I already registered team john-users to compete in the Pro bracket. You
may join the team. We will have an internal training session on this
weekend, so it would be convenient to join before July 31. See
full invitation here:

Orgs released test hashes, so you might get a few insights on your own
before real cracking:

Besides from the contest, there will be onsite Password Cracking Village
at the conference:
https://passwordvillage.org/

Previous year it was online. And all recordings are available. ;-)
Minga of KoreLogic gave explanations about contest after CMIYC 2020:

Thanks!
