Subject: content of passwd file and --single

Hello,

I'm extracting account info (login, passwd...) from an LDIF file to compute a pseudo-/etc/passwd file. What fields of a regular /etc/passwd file are taken into account by --single mode?
We have for example a staff ID number that is sometimes used by people, I've put this number in the uid field of my processed passwd file, but I'm not sure it's the best place if I want it to be tested as password candidate.

thanks,
Patrick
