It works for me like $ john -format:'md5_gen(0)' While documentation (doc/OPTIONS) does not say about -subformat key. It says only about -subformat=LIST key that shows list of subformats. However such behaviour seems to me to be intuitional. Hence the question could I use such behaviour in Johnny? Or will it be fixed to be like in documentation and I should not use it?
