I've briefly tested this one (using only the self-test) on x86, x86-64,
and Alpha - it works.  I've also tried it on a SPARC (big-endian) - as
expected, it failed there.

Anyway, I've placed this patch into:

	ftp://ftp.openwall.com/pub/projects/john/contrib/

I am not linking to it from the website yet.
