Both John 1.6 and 1.6.38 loaded this line just fine and cracked the second half within 10 seconds (of course, 1.6.38 cracked it quicker than 1.6 did). Your password ends in "ow"; the first 8 characters will take longer to crack. Are you experiencing any problems with using John on this password file? -- Alexander Peslyak <solar at openwall.com> GPG key ID: B35D3598 fp: 6429 0D7E F130 C13E C929 6447 73C3 A290 B35D 3598 http://www.openwall.com - bringing security into open computing environments Was I helpful?
