There was a bug in it: in the DES_BS case, I set BINARY_SIZE to 4,
whereas it should be ARCH_SIZE (given the rest of the code).  I think
the patch would fail on 64-bit big-endian.

You will likely want to apply this minimal fix in -jumbo, whereas I am
making more invasive changes in the CVS tree (it already scales much
better - I am testing on 1 million of tripcodes).
