I also have Citrix XenServer (Xen 4.1) running multiple Owl VMs. For Amazon AMI I've used the official Owl kernel as a template and rebuilt it enabling Xen parts in the configuration. However, on my XenServer I went with the latest 3.+ kernel series and built a specific kernel version for Xen. I'm happy to help with providing my .config (off-list) or to provide some advice on the configuration if needed. -- (GM)
