Subject: openwall backup techniques

Colleagues,

as there's no rsync in Openwall, and it is a bit hard to run rdiff-backup
which is in Python (and Python is not included into the distro), the only
incremental backup method left is with GNU tar.

May be someone could make the

http://openwall.info/wiki/internal/gnu-tar-incremental-backups

wiki page a bit more verbose? As of now, it only describes the process on
the 'ideology' level, so it is necessary to google up a lot of actual
information to implement the same thing. What I'd be glad to see there are
samples of actual tar commands, the authorized_keys file samples (with all
these restriction directives), may be even crontab entries, and the
involved scripts, if any.

Thanks!
