This sounds like the reason why I wrote github.com/jollheef/out-of-tree :)

There's already fork with support on github.com/jollheef/lkrg that I
use for testing exploits with LKRG. You can apply patches from there.

I remember that I've already talked with you and Adam even before the
release of this tool (woah almost two years ago), so if there any
reason why you don't want to integrate it, then feel free to create an
issue on GitHub.
