Usually you need those puppies:
https://developer.nvidia.com/cuda-downloads
http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us

It might be a good idea to backup /etc/X11/xorg.conf before installing
new drivers.

I asked you about that once, please take that seriously.
