I was under impression that this was determined to be unneeded because its functionality is the same as that of the included "NT" wordlist ruleset. The issue with passwords containing colons remains, though. Indeed, it'd be nice to have a more straightforward and correct way to accomplish this, but IIRC john-1.7.6-jumbo-12-lm2ntlm-1.diff was about as dirty as the approach involving --rules=nt anyway. (This is from my memory. I did not take another look at it now. I could be wrong.) Do you find john-1.7.6-jumbo-12-lm2ntlm-1.diff to be better than the --rules=nt approach? Alexander
