I'm puzzled that you [gpu guys] struggle with bandwidth > problems for raw formats when there are low hanging fruit like this ;-) believe it or not i'm working on it since i ended mysql-sha1, problem at the moment rise with all those pesky pwd+salt+serial, i'm trying to figure out a smart way to add and encode without having to go char by char :-) that is the real time killer even on the gpu. cheers Samuele
