I tested for cygwin.

On my computer, opt_errors[1] is not corrupted. I'm not sure what to 
look for, and will take a closer look tomorrow.

Single stepping from __main was not conclusive. I segfault from 
ntdll!RtlImpersonateSelfEx (), and it doesn't seem I even get into john.
