Hello,

First of all, I have to apologize for not initially reporting to the
appropriate list.

I'm G. Geshev and I'm an Opewall's Summer of Security 2011 participant.

What I'm dealing with now is the GNU toolchain renewal process -
basically focusing on upgrading GCC along with the relevant libs.

Accomplishments:

* I've built several distinct raw RPM packages with no patches applied
at all - GCC 4.6.0 and GMP 4.3.2, MPFR 3.0.1 and MPC 0.9 as the latter
are GCC dependencies.
* I've done several `make buildworld's with GCC 4.6.0 on a x86 system.
* I've also done basic research on the build errors.

Priorities:

* Rebuilding world on a box provided by Alexdaner.
* Cleaning up the spec files.
* Figuring out and resolving any build issues.
* Adjusting the RPM packages changelog.

Cheers,
Georgi
