As I've just explained in another message, no.

We currently use this format:

user1:$pbkdf2-hmac-sha512$18975.b8ffe5381673a3dce4f2fa7a4e2bb465ffba6b1706f1350e7839d6aac7dbde56.bd0ada8614a5cdf9040f49d6ecd499a8eaf54d9361f5dc0a47da5aa0ddd7ea0c844c3552099e50e98fa9b3637b0ff02c584ac55bd06c9bc0660ba6a245cdea8f2feeb83556faf718c0f389c8a036bdfd9d481569ec02bb62f0b8f2354a9e197f389ea064f0921f282b88737d988135f37a1b56b5e72058ca19edb52c96053eb9

but we should probably (re-)add support for the above as an input format
as well, if an external tool produces it as you say. All of this is
subject to change, especially before we release the next jumbo.

I've verified that the "user1:$pbkdf2-hmac-sha512$..." line above gets
loaded by current unstable-jumbo:

Loaded 1 password hash (PBKDF2-HMAC-SHA512 GRUB2 / OS X 10.8 [32/32 OpenSSL])

That's on an emulated 32-bit SPARC system I am playing with at the
moment. ;-) You'll probably see 64/64 there.
