I am not aware of a specific "secured" identd daemon, however what you
should want to do is run an identd daemon of your choice as a dedicated
non-root pseudo-user.

If you have CONFIG_HARDEN_PROC enabled, you'll need to either enter that
pseudo-user into group "proc" or add that group by means of xinetd.

This has been tested and it works.
