Subject: Re: MSCash Opencl format

Thank you magnum, maybe its my system, not sure. I recently removed a GPU
from the system.
Nonetheless, this a fresh download of JtR and compiled so it doesn't make
much sense. Anyway this is what I get:

$ ./john  /tmp/mscash  --dev=gpu --format:mscash-opencl --verb=5
initUnicode(UNICODE, UTF-8/ISO-8859-1)
UTF-8 -> UTF-8 -> UTF-8
Device 0: Pitcairn [AMD Radeon HD 7800 Series]
mscash1: One or more hashes rejected due to salt length limitation

If I reduce the number of hashes to 10:

$ ./john  /tmp/mscash  --dev=gpu --format:mscash-opencl --verb=5
initUnicode(UNICODE, UTF-8/ISO-8859-1)
UTF-8 -> UTF-8 -> UTF-8
Device 0: Pitcairn [AMD Radeon HD 7800 Series]
mscash1: One or more hashes rejected due to salt length limitation
Using default input encoding: UTF-8
Loaded 8 password hashes with 8 different salts (mscash-opencl, M$ Cache
Hash [MD4 OpenCL])
Loaded 9 hashes with 8 different salts to test db from test vectors
