Hi

 my system OS X, Macintel, JTR 1.7.9 jumbo5

 This following hash is SHA1 salted  is not recognized by JTR
xxx:$dynamic_24$6559af43d62bba45bfdc2089c4f0fac45d710ff4$3f759b9beea496251148051ed62825d6bb552d2

iMac-de-xxx-xx:run xxxxxx$ mpirun -np 4 ./john test.txt -i:digits
No password hashes loaded (see FAQ)


If I cut the hash -> xxx:$dynamic_24$6559af43d62bba45bfdc2089c4f0fac45d710ff4$3f759b9beea496251148051

iMac-de-xxx-xx:run xxxxxx$ mpirun -np 4 ./john test.txt -i:digits
Loaded 1 password hash (dynamic_24: sha1($p.$s) [SSE2i 10x4x3])
mpirun: killing job...

john accept it.

 It is possible to crack SHA1 with long salt ?
