Subject: OpenVMS support for 1.7.8 added to patches area.
I added a kit (OpenVMS support 2.4) to the patches wiki, http://openwall.info/wiki/john/patches, that lets current versions of John crack OpenVMS passwords, including the newer mixed case ones. Any testers would be welcome. I've only built it on 3 platforms (linux x86, Mac OSX Snow Leopard, OpenVMS Alpha) that are all little-endian, it will likely have problems on Sparc (especially the uaf2john program).
I've attached the aaareadme.txt file from the zip file.
