I've compiled the following versions of John the Ripper and uploaded them to
the custom builds wiki (http://openwall.info/wiki/john/custom-builds)

 

Linux 32-bit and 64-bit:

Version 1.7.7 

Version 1.7.7 with the jumbo 1 patch

 

These files should run on multiple versions of Linux.

 

Their names are:

john-1.7.7-jumbo-1-Linux32x86.tar.gz

john-1.7.7-jumbo-1-Linux64x86-rev2.tar.gz

john-1.7.7-Linux32x86.tar.gz

john-1.7.7-Linux64x86.tar.gz
