Yes, thank you!  I've saved your message to my folder with JtR
contributions, which I am going to review when I work on the next
revision of the jumbo patch.  I will likely test it on OS X as well.
Unfortunately, I don't expect to get to this very soon as I have higher
priority tasks to take care of (most not related to JtR)...
