Recently there has been a posting on the mailing lists about a new john 
plugin for oracle:

I'm sure this is old news for most john users but I'm trying to figure out 
how to incorporate this plugin to john.
For those who don't know, this code translates the oracle password hashes in 
a format that john can work with.
Has anyone had any sucess getting this to work? Will John-1.6.39 have 
support for oracle passwords?
