Using the same LTC pool (and still with the same difficulty), I got
about 10 shares/minute at 1 Mh/s (two GPUs).  This means that at 1 Kh/s,
it may in fact take about 2 hours between shares, on average.  If the
segfault has something to do with finding a share, this means that we
were extremely lucky on those occasions when it occurred in the first
few minutes.
