Oh, I guess this speed difference has nothing to do with 7990 vs. 7970,
but is about Catalyst version and clock rate differences (which we're
tuning on the 7990 to prevent its GPU 0 from overheating - so you'd get
different speeds on GPU 0 vs. GPU 1).  You need to check the current
clock rates before considering the performance numbers you obtain.

And indeed this is for one of two GPUs in the 7990.
