The current code will work fine. No problems. However one thing is
puzzling me. The compilation failure you got earlier on Snow Leopard
was caused by missing __MAC_OS_X_VERSION_MIN_REQUIRED" define. It
should have been found on Snow Leopard too.  I am trying to figure out
why it is missing.

Can you write a simple program to print the value of
__MAC_OS_X_VERSION_MIN_REQUIRED on Snow Leopard and check if it
compiles and works properly. Thanks.
